Sybill Andrews Academy Heating, Ventilation and HWS Installation
USC partnered with Bower Fuller to deliver the ambitious BMS requirements, which were essential for the school to operate at such a progressive level.
The BMS controls and monitors the whole school for its heating, ventilation and HWS.

The classrooms within the main Heart Block and Teaching Sports Centre Block contain a heat recovery unit (HRU).
The HRU is fully controlled and monitored by the BMS by utilising a combined room temperature and CO2 sensors. Fan speeds are moderated depending on the internal climate conditions.
The Academy has taken a very forward-thinking approach to its technology, along with a commitment to energy saving solutions, which of course assists the school in meeting its environmental responsibilities.
Every USC installation is quality managed, guaranteeing all current regulations are followed and delivered. We are members of the NIC EIC and have been approved with the Safe Contractors register.
Grant Capon, the lead Project Manager and USC’s Manager commented ‘Following the successful completion of other projects for Imtech Engineering, we were very pleased to be selected as the BMS solutions expert. We managed this highly complex and often demanding installation within a very strict timetable, with the added constraints which occur when working in a school environment. Our extensive knowledge of completing such projects has resulted in USC becoming a preferred BMS solution expert within the South East and East Anglian region”
