BMS Engineer

Location: Site Based & Working from Home/Office
Must be commutable to East Anglia/South-East/London/Midlands
Hours: 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday

    Required

  • Previous operational experience as a BMS engineer
  • Must be a strong electrical engineer (building services) with a good understanding of HVAC plant
  • Experience dealing with commercial clients
  • MS Office skills for reporting and commissioning sheets
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Full UK Driving License

    Desirable

  • Experience of Priva, Cylon, Siemens, RDM & Honeywell Centraline.
  • Ability to write software from conception

Building Services Project Assistant

Location: : Ipswich
Hours: 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm)

    Job Role (This list is not exhaustive):

  • Management of reactive and planned BMS maintenance. Provide reactive and proactive quotations for the client
  • Engineer Diary management
  • Responsibility for the administration of all sales invoices and management of ‘Application’ process for large projects.
  • Create monthly sales figures for the management team and COO
  • Raising purchase orders, projects, sales invoices, inputting time and analysing project spend via project management system
  • Creation of Operation and Maintenance manuals for completed projects, ready for handover to the client
  • Administrate payment application and invoices for key customers
  • Support the centralised Accounts department in the reconciliation of all sales and management of credit accounts
  • Completion of ‘Pre-Qualification Questionnaires’ for new clients
  • Responsibility for ad-hoc office duties such as posting marketing literature, ordering office supplies, booking training courses, booking accommodation & travel, arranging vehicle services, monitoring holidays booked
  • Management of company website, creating regular, interesting updates and news articles, updates on projects and general industry news
  • First point of contact for all enquiries: email, telephone and in person
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by Management
    Required
  • Experience working in the building, mechanical or electrical sector
  • Knowledge of Contracting and Project Work
  • Experience managing Engineer diaries and workloads
  • Ability to work confidently, independently and be the initial company contact
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi task efficiently
  • Previous experience of office administration and financial reporting systems
  • Experience in modifying and uploading to websites
  • Computer literate and conversant with MS Word and Excel

    Desirable

  • Experience of developing management reporting
  • Experience of budget and forecast processes
